Problem
Children from economically backward communities & children with learning disabilities have a higher drop-out rate due to the lack of interest in the academic curriculum caused by a standardized teaching approach that inhibits innovation and adaptability. Schools struggle to cater to individual student interests and create engaging learning experiences, compounded by ineffective utilization of existing technology.
Design Statement
To create an ambient classroom space ( whiteboard & and tablets ) with innovative interventions such as personalized learning paths, gamified elements, and the integration of AI-driven content recommendation, A system to captivate learners' interests, enhance engagement, and nurture a sense of identity and belonging. By embracing neurodiversity, and promoting equitable education.
Process
Research & Analysis: Performed user interviews, questionnaires, and analyzed competing applications to identify difficulties and user requirements. We examined rival apps and sector trends for valuable insights.
Information Architecture: Utilizing our research conclusions, we built the app's navigation and content, prioritizing functionalities and details based on user preferences.
Wireframing: We developed basic wireframes to visualize the layout and navigation, continually improving them according to user responses. Later, we created a detailed, interactive model to evaluate the design.
Usability Testing: We carried out usability assessments with a varied user base to confirm the design and pinpoint areas needing enhancement. Utilizing the feedback, we made required modifications to the design.
Visual Design & Style Guide: We crafted a unified visual vocabulary, including color palettes, fonts, and symbols, guaranteeing uniformity across the app. We also devised a style guide to preserve design consistency in subsequent updates.
Through Root cause analysis by 5 why’s method we can understand what is the core problem faced by the users and in return provide a solution for the the core issue that there is lack of engagement in studies from children especially from economically backward households
